Welcome all visitors. Like a tree planted by the Spring of Living Water. The plan of action for Wintercreeks.net is to be a source of healing for the nations. The Bible contains the mind of God, the state of mankind, the way of salvation, the doom of sinners, and the joy of believers. Its doctrines are holy, its precepts are binding, its histories are true and its decisions are immutable. Read it to be safe, and practice it to be holy. It contains light in a dark world, nourishment for your soul, and comfort for a broken heart. Here Paradise is restored, Heaven opened and the gates of hell disclosed. Christ is its grand subject, our good the design and the glory of God its end. It should fill the memory, rule the heart and guide the feet. Read it slowly, frequently, reverently and prayerfully. It involves the highest responsibility, will reward the greatest labor and will condemn all who trifle with its sacred contents.
The Promise of Heaven

The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians chapter 2 that the human mind cannot even imagine what God has in store for those who love Him. "In the Beginning, God created the heavens and Earth."[Genesis 1:1] Earth is our home, Heaven is the destiny of all that obey. When Adam and Eve disobeyed, the door to Heaven slammed shut and God locked it from the inside. And Adam's race has been banging on the door ever since.
When God shut the door in Adam's face, He did not cease to speak to Adam. God spoke to Adam's race through a closed door by mediation. "God spoke to us at various times and in many ways by means of the prophets. In the later days spoke to us in and through His Son..."[Hebrews 1:1&2]
Men as early as Cain and Abel spoke with God through the closed door.[Genesis 4:3-15] But they could never enter heaven. Men like Abraham, Jacob, Moses, David, Isaiah, Daniel caught glimpses of Heaven but never entered because the door was still shut. They would all have to wait. In the dark!
"When the fullness of time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, to redeem those who were under the Law."[Galatians 4:4] God came to us from Heaven. God came into our world like everyone born of Adam's race.[John 1:1-5,14; Romans 5:5,7,12-14; 2 Corinthians 5:17-21] And they called Him - Immanuel (God with us) Jesus (Yahweh is salvation) The Son of God.
When the Son of God returned to the Father after accomplishing everything He was sent to do.[Isaiah 55:10&11] He left the door to Heaven wide open. All who call upon the name of the Lord will be saved. In other words, all that die to their selfish ambitions, take up their cross and follow Jesus Christ will enter.
The door is open and shines brighter than the sun because Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. No man can enter Heaven except through Him. [John 14:6] God no longer speaks to us through a closed door.
They that bear God's seal [John 16:5-11; Acts 2:1-39; Romans 8:9-30] of approval bear the responsibility to point others in the direction of the door. Just like helping someone out of a burning building. This world is ablaze with the raging fire of sin. God help the global Christian community to remove the denominational blockade from the door of Heaven. May the Church repent of its apathy. Stop pointing fingers at each other. Instead start pointing lost Adam's race toward the Promise of Heaven.
